During the process of constructing our product we have used a range of different technology such as a programme called Live type, to the create titles, Live Type allows you to edit what font you want, when you want them to come on and off and the size and colour of the font. There are various different effects, for example fade, scroll, glow, and zooms. The timing of the effects can be customized from scratch using key framing.
In this screenshot, it shows me using Live type to create my title sequence. I was able to position where I wanted each title, when it faded in and out and the timings of each one. I could also adjust the colour, shadow, size, spacing and much more.
We also used iMovie is the software I used to create my opening sequence. It allowed me to add music, at the exact time, and alter the volume at specif moments. Additionally I was able to crop certain parts, and edit the timing of each shot.
A programme called Final Cut was also used in order to put the whole opening sequence together. I had to add the titles with the actual opening sequence for it to work. This screen shot if of Final Cut.
We also a range of equipment when filming. Such as a camera, a tripod, a fig rig and an underwater camera called a GI pro. This is a gif from our opening sequence, showing when we used the GI pro. It was the first time we used a GI pro therefore we had to do a lot of practice before hand.
I also used a range of technology in the creation of my blog as i had to record my work super visually. The technology used on my blog were Prezi, slide rocket, Youtube, tube chop, Bubbl and go animate.
These are some screenshots from my blog from when I used some of these technologies. Go animate is a software allows you to choose two characters to have a conversation, all you need to do is type in the text that you want them to say and they will read it out in a conversation.
I also embedded youtube videos of myself speaking or analyzing something. This is an effective, quick way of making it more interesting and conveying all my ideas.

Bubbl is a software that you can create a mind map on, I used this for writing out the mark scheme. Slide Rocket is a software that enables you to create a power point and add images, videos or gifs.
Prezi, is a more complex version of a mind map where you can put all your information in a neat presentation. It will take you through slides showing your ideas in a creative way and you can add images.
I also used screencast o matic. This is where you can make a video of what you are doing on the computer
to explain how to use something or could be a
way of evaluating something.
Live type and Final cut were technologies that were new to me however with practice, after time I was able to adjust and learn how to use it properly. The use of a blog helped me display my work in a creative way as I was able to put on my work and show different ways of recording my work. Technology that need careful planning and usage was the Gi pro as we had to be careful when handling it and we had to book it a long time in advance as we couldn't take it after school or over night.
We had to reshoot multiple shots from the beginning of our opening sequence as some were too shaky or match on action was not used properly and the setting had to be changed to somewhere more practical. The use of Live Type allowed me to edit the titles in our opening sequence more successfully than iMovie as we were able to choose the exact font we want and edit precise details such as the shadows on the titles and the timing of when they came in and out.
